Agassiz-Waterhen River Lodge & Outfitters caters to fisherman from all over the world who come here to fish in the pristine waters. Upon request, one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides will take you fishing to their favorite spot and will fry you up your catch to mouth watering perfection. The lodge is situated along the Waterhen River about a three miles north of the head of Lake Manitoba. The Waterhen River is a fast flowing river, which empties into Lake Manitoba. This is why it is such a popular feeding ground for walleye. Fishing for walleye, sauger, perch, silver bass & northern pike is done just a few minutes from the lodge. We also now have over 3000 square miles of hunter’s paradise to offer that borders both the Interlake and Parkland Regions. This area has produced some of the biggest black bear and whitetail in the world and has an abundance of waterfowl, which all hunters that visit our camp can attest to. We managed to harvest five Manitoba Book Bears, which all scored over 19+, with the biggest scoring 20 2/16. We ran a 90% success rate with 100% opportunity in both black bear & whitetail, and also were able to harvest 3 color bears. Our biggest Whitetail harvested was a non-typical 191 B&C with five others scoring over 160+.
